Grocery outlet has the occasional good snag, a great deal of their products are items that did not sell well in other stores and are thus discounted here though you should check the expiration dates to make sure you'll be able to use the products in time as they're often close to expiration. The store does get quite busy and you'll often wait a bit in line though it's nothing terrible. Snacks here are often cheaper and have a good length of expiration time so it's a great place to look for snacks.
Fill Your Spice Cabinet Here - If you're looking for a few of those essential ingredients come to grocery outlet. Spices and oils tend to cost a good chunk of change, but luckily Grocery Outlet has you covered. Most spices are $1 and cooking oils go for only a fraction of the cost you'd typically find anywhere else. Grocery outlet always has fun finds and tends to have great discounts on name brand items. Also, the staff consists of young and hard working go-getters, so be polite.
Before entering I assumed that this couldn't be my primary grocery store, but now I'm not so sure.... They have a wide variety of items, including produce and everyday staples. I was particularly surprised by the excellent selection of vegetarian frozen prepared foods (e.g. frozen dinner - type items) at excellent prices.
