Fantastic family owned business. I've gotten two of my three dogs there. Both incredible animals with great temperament. Staff was knowledgeable on the breeds and their tendencies as they grow and how they will interact with other animals. They have a wide variety of supplies and foods for all kinds of animals and their prices are competitive with the larger chains. Would definitely recommend.

I love this place, so many animals to pet! They go from hamsters and mice to dogs and parrots! The store owner has an adorable tortoise who wears a diaper, so cute! They also have a tuxedo cat named Damian who is so cute and friendly! I 100% recommend this place.

Very Friendly and Professional staff. Knowledgeable, and not pushy sales staff.nI adopted two animals, was offered financing, and was Amazed at how clean the whole place was very clean, and well kept. The animals are happy, healthy, and I feel very comfortable with my shopping experience, and thinking I got a great deal. EXCELLENT petsore experience

I have been going to Zimmers for years, it’s a local non corporate pet store. There are only a few left and this place is one of the best. There prices can be a little high for certain pets, but there variety is great and the pets are of quality. I purchased a ferret from them, he is so mild mannered and my children love him. A bad ferret can be vicious and draw blood, especially from ferret mills. Zimmers seems to have a descent stock of quality pets. We also have a tortoise from Zimmers, another quality pet purchased. Good job Zimmers, keep it local

Bought 10 fish there about a month ago, my tank is set up perfectly fine and can house all of those fish. I have one left. I bought a bird there 5 days ago and she just passed away this morning. When I took her out of the box I could tell they had grabbed a different bird then I had asked for, she wasn't healthy and couldn't fly. Not to mention the fact that their dogs are thousands of dollars for mixes, and their animals are very overpriced. Only shop here if you really need to. Diane's Pets in Pottstown is 100% the better option or go to the SPCA or Animal Rescue League. That was my last purchase from Zimmers Pets.
