I really like coming here the food is great and the beer is delicious. Great low key atmosphere, good pizza, best chowder in town and awesome German beers!nnSorry here comes the rant....nHowever the last couple times I’ve been- there are some new waitresses who throw the entire bill at whoever has their card out first.... they don’t leave a bill and walk away or ask how you’d like to split it... they basically throw the machine at whoever has a card on the table.... I was trying to buy my friends’ beers for them and ended up with a $80+ bill and no receipt to split the difference with my friend. This happened twice... Making for an awkward ending. Note we made it clear as the waitress was standing there that I would like to buy the beers but we were trying to split the remaining bill... Me forking out 150 bucks for two visits to a pub... I put my card in the machine expecting it to be beers plus half the food but nope... whole friggen enchilada.... Quoting waitress “giggles and says I just give the bill to whoever has their card out first” - said this both times I was there.... I used to be a waitress for 10 years and this is a little thing but it kinda pisses me off knowing it’s super easy to be attentive to splitting a bill correctly... annoying for big parties but we were two people... making me ...sorry but... extra judgmental. You guys should fix whoever has the habit of doing this because you guys are a 5 star best pub in town otherwise in my opinion.

Great beer and food. Try the Maibock beer. 2 Amigos lager also great. Plenty of outdoor patio seating is nice too

Not worth ypyr time or money if you're looking for good food! Visiting from Seattle for the day. The menu online is NOT the the actual menu. We were very disappointed in the menu selection. Current menu a bit boring. The Vegan salad and side salads were good. The pizza was very disappointing. Skimpy on toppings and cheese..where all u could taste is the sauce

Great food. Plenty of parking. They have hops growing on the fence in the outside dining. How cool.

The pizza wad delicious and their calzones even better.
