Now, yes Bellingham Bar and Grill has all the markings of a great bar, friendly staff, lots of good stuff on tap, bartenders that are on point, and before the Covid mess one of the best places to play pool in town.nnSurprisingly this place also serves the best Steak and Seafood in town as well. I am serious about that too, the few actual steak houses in Bellingham serve food that is lower quality than here and you'll pay $10 more at those steak houses. Do note, be sure to grab a bite to eat when its not peak drinking hours, as this is a bar first still.
I was craving fish and chips, so called in my order for take-out. OMG!!! If anyone remembers the great fish and chips Barters made, these are 110% better! Four large portions of cod, lightly breaded and fried to perfection! And a LOT of fries. I am a light eater and I got two full meals from one order. I had a bit of a drive to home, so warmed both in my air-fryer, superb!nMy only suggestion, would be for you to add a side of coleslaw to this entree. It would be an inexpensive and tasty addition.
The owner John and son Moe are very hospitable, and it's a nice bar/restaurant/pool hall to frequent. Tell them Drew sent ya. ;)
Go visit Mo he will take great care of you! I have been coming to this place since it was downtown Johnny's 10+ years ago. Excellent food, supreme staff and service this place comes HIGHLY recommended!!
