The Staff who helped us with our Home Loan was amazing. However the bank turned around and sold our loan before our first payment was even owed. This is frustrating because now we do not have a physical location we can stop by and ask questions any more. This was a factor that was important to us and seems like a shady practice by Umpqua as they never had the intention of being our loan provider for long. I will never do business with Umpqua again.

I visited this bank on recommendation from a friend when looking for a home loan. Nicole and Lena were both exceptionally informative and willing to help at a moments notice. Another bank ended up being able to beat their terms by a hair, which unfortunately in my case made the difference, but my experience with Umpqua and its employees was stellar. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone shopping for a loan.
This is a newer bank in Bellingham. I am involved with the business community in Bellingham and have had a chance to visit and interact with the folks that operate this branch. I am so impressed with their efforts, their friendliness. It is still imporant to me that people know who I am especially if they have my money.
