First and foremost, really outstanding service. Knowledgeable of both the food and wines. We ordered a gluttonous amount of food and loved every bite. The duck pate was incredible. The broccoli.... oh the broccoli.... so tasty and the little caramelized bits were so perfect. Only tiny critique would be to give the halibut dish some texture. The flavors are on point, we just tossed a bit of the broccoli from the app on the dish for some crunch and it was great.

WOW outstanding service from Lexie. What a wonderful woman. She made this a perfect eve. And of course the food was amazing too. Celery salad, beef cheek and peacon pie. everything was so delicious. If you don’t eat here, you’ll miss really high quality food. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful experience at Hattaway's. It came highly recommended by several people during our visit to Walla Walla. Our server Mark, was wonderful and had great suggestions for our kids and for us to try. My husband and I shared the ribeye (which was huge). We also tried the smashed potatoes, which my very well be the best potatoes I've ever had. A fresh salad was refreshing and had a wonderfully light dressing. The ribeye was smokey and finished with a beautiful salt. My husband says it's the best steak he has ever eaten. (I could easily say the same however it was a touch too smokey for me, but he LOVES that). The staff were kind, atmosphere was comfortable and food was incredible. We will certainly be back.

Very creative menu, food was great, ambiance was great... My I give only 4stars because I like the way my husband makes his duck breast better. He still is able to cook it medium and get crispy skin. The skin on my duck breast was not crispy but the flavor was great anyway. The dish was so fun to eat because of the international influence in every component. The cocktails were great very bright, interesting and enjoyable.

Great menu, great service, outdoor seating during COVID. Indoor we passed on due to quite a bit of airflow from the A/C going on. Unfortunately our experience wasn't 5-stars like many others on the food front.nnThe BBQ Chips, the pulled pork tasted like it was swimming in a typical grocery store BBQ sauce so basically you tasted the sauce more than the pork.nnThe Shaved Celery Ceasar was excellent except for the fact it's served with sweet marinated figs that have a hint of cinnamon and spice. Cinnamon goes with Caesar dressing?nnBoth our main entrees were too salty. The fried chicken would have been 5-star if it wasn't for all the salt. Yes people like salt and salt brings out flavor but, in it was over the top. The Halibut Cheek entree was a major disappointment. Instead of receiving whole chunks of Halibut cheeks they served dry, salty, small pieces of Halibut cheeks (a little smaller than a silver dollar). The grits had so much butter, cream and cheese in it, it was way too rich and overpowered an otherwise mild tasting fish.nnDial back the salt/seasoning a little and the butter/cheese and let the main ingredient in your entrees stand on their own.
