Moab Regional Hospital

This is for Zach in the billing department he solved a problem for me in 10 minutes that I've been trying to solve for a year he was super empathetic to what I'm going through i was in tears about how kind he was and what he did to help me. I went to doctor Munger for a long time he is an amazing doctor all the people that are amazing except Lindsay in billing department. I have gone through a huge loss recently, I've never talked to somebody that did not care like her. I was wrong they were right and that was that. even though that was not true it was very horrible to deal with. I'm grateful I called Zack and he called me right back, thank you very much I appreciate what you did for me.

I had pain and bloating on the left side of my abdomen where my lower intestine is. They did a number of tests and couldn't figure out what it was. Finally they decided to do a colonoscopy; instead of writing a prescription for the gallon of "laxative" that you drink the night before to clean you out they told me to drink an entire container of Miralax and take some OTC laxatives. It didn't work very well because after the procedure they told me they couldn't get all the way to the end of my colon and since there was still "stuff" in my colon they couldn't see exactly what was going on. I ended up going to a gastroenterologist in Colorado who actually wrote me a prescription for the correct laxative and because it cleared everything out so they were able to see and remove several pre cancerous polops.(sp?)

We cant really speak SO VERY WELL of this amazing & tiny hospital. It is actually pretty big to consider it a regional hospital, compared with the ones with have in Vermont. June 22nd 7am, husband and wife walked to the emergency room because of back pain while exactly 32 weeks pregnant (it was in a Monday morning). Check in was extremely fast. All areas were extremely clean. The nurses were amazing, the radiologist was there, and a bit after the doctor came in to announced baby was coming within the hour. Premature baby! They don't really deal with pregnancies, EVEN PREMATURE BABIES! Doc made different calls, to Jct, Provo, Etc, and coordinated to get a NICU portable equipment in a life flight to Moab. Got a life flight from Provo Utah. What a story we are going to tell our little one. We are from the east coast, specifically from Vermont. Would never ever imagine the amazing quality service from a remote part of the USA. We cannot speak enough of the level of service, the caring, patience, it goes on and on and on. We wish we can send them like a catering or something, but will prefer to do it in person next summer. We love Moab, we have been making road trips there since 2012. 4th time visiting, and second baby came. We name him Moab (as a second name) because the story behind it is incredible. Thank you E Team, nurses, Doctor, I don't recommend giving birth at any backcountry regional hospital BUT THIS ONE! I read many reviews about the finance department but the SERVICE is A+!

During our vacation through the national parks this Thanksgiving my appendix ruptured. While shocked about the happening, I was extremely concerned about the level of care I would receive at a VERY SMALL regional hospital in Moab Utah (pop. 5800). I could not have been more ignorant, nor impressed with the local care I was to receive. Dr. Kim Brandau was called in for my emergency appendectomy. She promptly explained the situation, (which was a little unusual due to the placement of my appendix in relation to my colon), assured me that while this was less than usual or ideal, however she was confident that we could rectify the situation. I spent 4-days in the hospital, Dr. Brandau, visited daily, staying much longer than any Dr. I have ever had an experience with (even my primary care physician). Coming from LA & Miami we should all be so lucky to have a situation occur in Moab. I will also say the nursing, orderly and support staff were world class. Thanks you Dr. Brandau, you literally saved my life!

I presented to the urgent care with a broken arm. The staff was incredibly pleasant and efficient. The medical assistants, PA and radiology staff were all so friendly, knowledgeable and kind. In less than an hour I was diagnosed, treatment started and out the door. Couldn’t ask for better care! Go there! If you need to; hope you don’t need to though.
