I took my dog here about 4 times. Now I will say my dog is not a fan of going into any groomer business, including Petsburgh. But, the nice thing is that this grooming company seemed to always be much quicker than other places. It would seem like only about an hour would pass and my pup was ready to be picked up. She is not crate trained and does not like being caged, so each time i would pick her up she would sprint from the cage super happy. All was well, until last time I took her. For some reason it took closer to 3 hours before she was ready. I went in the pick her up and paid/ tipped as always. But my pup didn't want to leave the cage, she looked terrified when the worker tried to get her out. She finally came out when she saw i was there, but there was noticeable fear about her. The ride home she seemed a bit sad/ depressed. I was trying to think - what could have possibly happened that took twice- three times longer for her grooming and what caused her fear. Well.... later that night i noticed she didn't have a toe nail, just the toe pad. I looked closer and didn't even see the quick, the entire toe nail and quick was fully removed. She was licking it and nervous to let me examine it. I noticed there wasn't active bleeding, this clearly happened hours prior. That was about 2.5 months ago and the toe nail never grew back. I don't understand how the entire nail/ quick was removed, but it was clear it happened at the groomers. My guess is the appointment took so much longer as they were probably applying blood clotting medicine to the area and waiting for it to stop bleeding. Suddenly, it was clear why my dog had appeared so scared... Most people complain about a nail being cut too short at a groomer...well, imagine how much pain a dog had to go through when having an entire nail/ nail bed ripped out. I can't fully prove the incident happened at the groomers, but what I can tell you is my dog had the toenail before going.nnUpdating review cause the paranoid owner is insane in reply. I’ll call you up and tell you my name and you can go through your records if you don’t believe me. Morons

My dog came back super happy. They did really well with her cut and nails. Even did a pumpkin spice scrub!

We have used this groomer, exactly 1 mile from our home, 1 or 2 times/year since they opened. It's tough to find a cat groomer, and when I have previously, they were super expensive and an unpleasant drive with our agitated cat. These guys are great! Fast, experienced, patient, responsive and affordable. Shame on me for not reviewing them earlier!

Our long haired boy was in need of a shave in order to beat the summer heat so we brought him to the shop and decided this young boy needed a lion cut....how appropriate! Not to mention how handsome he turned out. What a wonderful job they did with him and for his first time getting groomed apparently he didn't do too bad. We would recommend this place to anybody and we will be making an appt for our other cat. Wonderful customer service and wonderful grooming!
