Staff is very knowledgeable when it come to my fish. They are my go too for answers and most of my needs to keep my fish healthy. They also carry a very wide variety of fish and are willing to order what ever you'd like if they do not have it. It's one of those places you can just wonder around in for an hour and still not feel like you've explored enough.
Wow very aggressive customer service skills from staff all for a $2 fish... will just be going elsewhere for all my dog/cat/reptile/fish needs so sad. I just wanted it to be replaced because the other two fish are fine. I was going to buy more products today as well. Guess you only treat people a certain way if they dress differently.
I went to PetWorks to get a beta fish for my newly curated tank. I was so excited! I love to support local business and after looking for 3 minutes or less, I already had one picked out. I went to the salesperson and asked for their help getting a beta fish. They said “I have one more customer and I’ll be right with you.” I smiled and said “thanks!” then went to gather the remainder of my supplies for the beta, which took 2 minutes tops. I decided to wait by the beta tanks, thinking the salesperson would come find me. I was wrong. I rounded the corner to find him helping not 1, not 2, but 4 different customers who were clearly building an entire aquarium of fish and would take a very long time to be helped. Not to mention, these customers came after the “one last customer” the salesperson was supposed to help before me. I’m all about helping others and shopping local, but I am not about being treated like I am less than. Worst experience I’ve had thus far from a local shop in Olympia.
Great location right downtown and the staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable in most situations!!!!
Pet Works employees are always pleasant. The store is always clean and friendly. Pets are very welcome in the shop. My Molly-dog loves it. Next time I go I'll take pictures.
