Excellent Customer Service!

Red Wing has top of the line steel toed shoes and I recently visited to purchase my first pair for a new job. The store employees were very welcoming and helpful. Based on the suggestion of a woman whom I believe is the manager, I found my perfect pair! She was the one who suggested the style to me and measured me up perfectly!

Let me start off by saying that I don't give less than stellar reviews to locally owned and operated businesses lightly.nnWhen I go into a small store that specializes in a single brand to spend over $300 on on footwear, I expect the sales staff to know more about the shoes than I do. This was my first time buying boots like this. However, service was not friendly, my questions about leather types seemed to reveal they weren't familiar and I wasn't warned about the shoes reputation for running large and having a break-in period. All of these things I was familiar with or I wouldn't have bought or would've bought the wrong size. Hopefully, I just caught them on a bad day. But I'll likely travel to another Red Wing store for my next purchase in hopes of a better experience.
