Double D's Sourdough Pizzeria & Taphouse

Yummmmmm!!! Ordered through Doordash and first time trying this place. My husband is obsessed with trying new pizza and we were not disappointed. It was hot and DELICIOUS. I'm shocked it has 3.8 stars! Higher ratings on Doordash which is good or we wouldn't have tried it. Seems like a lot of people are just upset at the staff. We didn't go in, so I'm rating just the food itself and it was amazing! Truly. We haven't had this good of pizza in so long. We got a small pizza, a calzone and the cinnabombs (omg). We will definitely order again. Anyone saying it's overpriced must be used to dominos and poor quality ingredients because you can tell this was made with fresh, unique ingredients. Cheers!

Definitely great pizza, but we ordered a pizzas recently and one was missing a topping. That's no biggie stuff happens, but when we called about it, we were accused of lying by some sassy, mean woman. She had said she personally put the sausage on our pizza (there were two suppose to have sausage and only one of them did). So we had to take the pizza back up there to show it to them and get one with the sausage on it. It wasn't about getting the pizza wrong, it was how their employee so rudely handled it.

Double D's has been an important part of our diet since moving to Superior. The food is amazing! A little pricier than other options, yes, but really really worth the extra few dollars. Highly recommended from a fan of food.

The staff doesn't seem to understand the importance of wearing masks during the pandemic. You may not be interfacing with customers but you are touching the food you are serving. Sure, the food will be cooked, however, you are going to be touching it again after it was cooked. Wearing your mask is a selfless service which no one should need to ask of you. Even after asking the staff to wear masks, some chose not to keep them on after a few minutes.s

Excellent Pizza! The best I've had in a long time. Great prices and friendly, helpful staff. Nice tablento sit outside. Great experience and reasonably priced. I'll have to start ordering for pickup. Definitely a hidden gem.
