Red Wing

I bought some boots here that after break in proved to be too short in the left foot (my foot basically slid forward as they stretched). The staff sized me for larger boots and replaced with no fee. Very happy with the service.nnThey said the too small boots go to a local work charity, which is great to know they're not wasted.

Amazing service, super knowledgeable. When I bought leather conditioner for my boots (not even Red Wings, actually) they conditioned them for me. Also gave me free laces and relaced because I didn't have good ones. Top notch service, above and beyond. Best place to go for leather shoe care.

I’ve been looking to get some great boots for a few years now and decided to take the plunge. I was looking online but decided to stop in because I didn’t want problems with fit. Eric was super friendly and helpful and explained the differences between the types of soles and answered all my questions. I ended up purchasing online because they didn’t have the exact style and features I wanted in my size but wanted to give them a shoutout for taking care of me and helping me make my decisionnnUpdate: DO NOT PURCHASE Red Wing shoes online!!! It ended up being a huge debacle. The first clerk I talked to at the store told me the boots would “probably” fit, so I placed my order. I turns out they were incredibly poorly fitting, but I didn’t realize that until after I had worn them down to a different Red Wing store in Arvada (they don’t accept returns if they are worn). Sign. I had to reach out to customer support and thankfully they made an exception and allowed me to return them (they do NOT do exchanges!! Read the terms carefully!). After several weeks I was finally reimbursed and went into the store and got some iron rangers that fit me.nn- don’t buy onlinen- if the store doesn’t have the model you want, ask them to see if other stores in the area have them (this would have saved me so much hassle!)n- buy from an actual store after an actual fitting!nnLove the boots though, once I finally got some that work for my feet.

I feel lucky that this store is the closest one to me, but I would happily drive out of my way to go to this store. The service has always been top notch! On several occasions I have walked in with a pair of my Red Wing boots that are in need of service and it is taken care of no problem. It is always a polite interaction even when the staff knows they are not making a sale during that visit.nnOn my last visit a pair my work boots were in need of some much needed love. The discussion that ensued was one of how we keep that pair of boots in service, and not replace them. I was walked through my options on getting them resoled and brought up to working condition again. I look forward to their return from the cobbler.nnWhen the time comes that I need to replace my boots I will happily visit that store again and buy a replacement pair. I know I will be taken care of and get to speak with someone who is knowledgeable and passionate about the product that they sell.
