I visited La Sportiva last weekend to find some winter running shoes. I really appreciate how helpful and knowledgeable their staff is - the rep took the time to make sure I really had my fit dialed. Thank you! I'm super stoked about my new shoes, but I also snagged a killer deal on a down puffy. I'm tall and lean, and it's hard to find technical gear that fits slim in the body but also has long enough sleeves. This jacket delivers. That was my first visit, but it won't be my last! I love this store!
I wish I knew the guys name, but he was fantastic! He helped me for hours find the perfect mountaineering boots. He was very knowledgeable on size and fit and taught me a lot about my own feet. It was the first time I heard of flat wool insoles to build up volume within the boot. When you need a heavy duty boot that will treat you right on your adventures, I highly recommend coming here to find it.
I went in thinking I knew what shoe I wanted. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted by Jeremy, he was an awesome and knowledgeable sales associate and quickly asked me what my goals/uses were for the shoe I was looking at and then steered me towards a different model that better aligned with my intended use. Very knowledgeable and professional staff who have your best interest in mind. They don’t just want to make the sale, but they want to guide you towards the absolute best product along the way. I recently had a wonderful experience at La Sportiva! Jeremy helped me find the perfect shoes for hitting the trails. He is extremely knowledgable about sizing and was well versed in all of their products. I wore my shoes the next day for a 5 hour hike and they were exactly what I needed; comfortable with great support and no blisters! I highly recommend this store if you are looking for an individualized experience provided by experts.
This place is awesome! Totally off the beaten path, but now that I know about it I'll be shopping there more. News flash: they have deeply discounted apparel that is TOP OF THE LINE and no longer being made, available right in their store. Check them out; I promise you won't be disappointed!
