I went in to see Dr. Peart for cosmetic procedures. All of the staff was incredibly hospitable and attentive from the moment I walked in the door. Dr. Peart is professional, knowledgeable and incredibly talented in the work she does. She really knows how to make her patients feel right at home. I would recommend her to any friend or family member seeking top notch care in the Boulder area.

The Medical Center has moved the lab to the front lobby right next to the Urgent Care (about 20 ft away), also in the front lobby. There were numerous elderly people waiting for the lab, as people were streaming into the building, passing by these people. Assuming that possible Covid patients might come to Urgent Care, it seems that the Medical Center has created a high risk for the most vulnerable people in the community, especially given the rising numbers of Covid in Boulder. Plus, the front desk employees continuously lowered their masks to chat with one another while checking in patients!

The medical services are good and I have never had a problem with the doctors there, but the billing is horrible and unprofessional. They are not clear about charges in advance, miscommunicated the cost of services, and delayed bills until almost a year after the service. That is unacceptable given that many forms of medical payments like FBA and HRA accounts are time limited. I would avoid using their services if you want to have any clarity on billing. For context, I tried contacting their billing department multiple times over an issue where they billed me for something almost a year after the service. They were generally unhelpful and said it was the patient's responsibility to know when they owed something even if the patient never got a bill. This was even after they admitted that they knew about the bill in march and had a glitch in their system that meant they didn't send it until the end of September (for a service that happened a year earlier). Sad to leave a place because of its billing, but clarity in medical bills are important and BMC does not provide that for their clients.

I’ve had some good experiences here, especially with the actual providers in urgent care and Laura Kaiser.nnBut I have to give two stars because of how often this place stands apart from other medical offices for the level of rude and impersonal treatment by receptionists or aids. Not all are rude, but boy when they are it’s pretty depressing.nnI just read the Glassdoor reviews on working there and there are a lot of negatives, receptionists and MAs treated/paid poorly by their management and don’t listen to employees. I always try to be extra nice with them but it’s a lot of work to elicit a friendly exchange sometimes and now I know why! I hope the mgmt takes some of this feedback to heart and make some changes, it’s vital to have healthcare services like this for the community and seems like they could do better!nnAnother reason for two stars is how expensive this place seems and feeling like they upsell me on additional services and every time I continue or add treatments I end up feeling like it’s been a waste of my time and money. Not sure if the business incentivizes providers to maximize patient’s appointments but it sure seems like it sometimes.

I went to see a doctor her a few months ago and had an overall great experience.nnI'm now trying to schedule some additional lab work and am finding it impossible to get ahold of someone who can help. I get forwarded through a string of receptionists and eventually reach a phone that eternally rings or get sent to voicemail. I am moving to a different provider because this has been so difficult.
