The West End Tavern

Amazing food! Burnt end brisket starter was incredible. (Didn’t even order it, they just “had extra”). Bacon cheddar cheeseburger, wings (both flavors), slaw, pickles were all mouthwatering. They also split plates for no extra cost and added generous portions of sides. Their BBQ sauce was the final straw for me to consider this my new favorite restaurant....ever, anywhere! I lived in Memphis for 4 years, so I know BBQ, and this place was the best I’ve ever tasted.

This restaurant is my first choice restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. Whenever I I need a delicious lunch, this place comes straight to my head. good and varied food and a large menu.helpful staff, and great atmosphere. And very important, the price is good. I praise this place with no hesitation.

Seriously amazing!! The atmosphere was gorgeous, we sat on the top deck under the lights with the overhead heater making it so comfortable and cozy. The entire team from the hostess to our waitress/waiters were so friendly! The drinks were delicious and I cannot get over how beautiful the butchers blocks were. Who knew smoked meat could look so fancy!! How can you go wrong with whiskey flights and barbecue?! Highly recommend!

Food was great!! When it was time to pay bill waitress seem to not know how to handle parties. She had multiply other tables on our bill. When corrected gratuity was already added so everyone in our party left a little cash tip. When reviewing my bank statement the restaurant had taken an additional $40. Called and spoke with Lucas and he said that in the tip section it said i left $40 tip and i put a zero with a line through it. So staff put the 4 in front of the zero. I called everyone that was a part of our party and they had done the same to everyone that used there credit cards. Lucas refunded the tip portion but i feel like that is fraud and it sucks that i will never go enjoy the food because The West End Tavern can not be trusted. My bill was over $200 why would anyone steal more money if everyone still left a cash tip.ud83dude12

We had a great time at The West End Tavern while on vacation in Boulder. It is always a challenge to order BBQ from anyplace outside of KC or Memphis. The burnt ends were a great representation of the great ones form KC. They were slightly over done, but had great smoke flavor. The pulled pork sandwich had a great mustard BBQ sauce that made it smoky and tangy.nnIt was great to order some boiled shrimp from the place next door. Great option if the entire family isn't up for BBQ. Great beer and drink selection!
