This place if I compare to Delta Hospital, is like Ramada INN vs the morgue,....the morgue being Delta Hospital. All of the staff are GREAT, but I gotta say the nurses in the Family Center, you ladies are THE BEST of the best!!! Anna, Nikki, Elaine, Kim, Chayla and Jennifer, love you women!! Thank you so so so much for the supuerb level of care you all provided while caring for me!!!!! Dr. Wisler and Dr. Hanley as well, thank you for everything!

Not my favorite hospital ever. And if you have the time and choice I would definitely go to Delta ER over Montrose ER any day.nnIt seems the set up to check in to do anything at the hospital is quite confusing for most people. The signs aren't the most obvious or specific and most of the staff placed to help either scowl or yell unless you are old or look sick that day it seems...nnThe cafeteria most always charge full price without giving the discount for your ID band.nnAs for staff overall...it's really hard to assure you'll get someone kind or confident in their work. I would not recommend trying to talk to them about your health during procedures and scans because they couldn't care less and don't ever seem willing to help explain anything.nnThe finance department women unfortunately seem the most pleasant and willing to help if needed as long as you're kind to them.

they saved my life so i may be in conflict of interest but great service and care. they are always clean. i do not like there outside billing service but that's only partly there fault.

During my stay of two weeks, the doctors, nurses, therapists, kitchen staff, all, just could not have cared for me more thoroughly and lovingly than what I experienced.

Doctors and nurses are brutes. They shout at you, lie about what medications they are giving you, and leave you for 3 hours without an IV, water, or to even see if your still alive. Had to ring for a nurse three times, and each time I asked for water, they left and never came back with the water. I was there for 6 hours, no IV, and I never got the cup of water.nnThen when I had questions I was told I could only ask a certain amount of questions about my condition, or I would be escorted out. When I asked why the nurse and doctor were being so rude, they started shouting at mennThey basically charge you and then refuse to do their jobs. Then they get angry when you ask them to help in any way, threaten you with security and get your money for treating you like a waste of their time.nnIf the staff in the ER hate doing the jobs they are paid to do, and instead choose to verbally abuse, and threaten sick people, then maybe they should step aside and let someone who needs a job, and can treat people humanely?. I'm sure there are hundreds of worthy people out of jobs, that can treat sick people with some kindness, better than the current ER staff.nnAnd has the Hippocratic oath been just thrown out the window in the ER, or is it OK to harm sick weak people now?nnNight and day compared to Grand Junction. Don't go here to be mistreated while sick. It's worth the hour and a half away. Go to. Grand Junction to be treated like a humannnOr you could spend 6-8 hours being treated like dirt, shouted at, and then threatend by security, just to go back home, feeling worse than before you wound up in the ER. With a massive bill, including the IV they never gave you. (100 for 1 IV bag, no kidding )nnSomething needs to change at this hospital.
