Mutu's Italian Kitchen

We expected better from one of the highest rated Italian restaurants in town.nnThe Goodnn- The restaurant itself is beautiful and a pleasant dinner setting.nn- The menu is great with many options and daily specials.nnThe Badnn- The bread with the meal didn’t appear to be baked in house, which I would expect from a nice Italian restaurant.nn- The prices seemed high for what you get. The sauce on the gnocchi was very thin and in general it seemed like there was more sauce on the food than the food itself. The other items we got were the mushroom appetizer and ravioli special.nn- The overall attitude of the staff was mediocre.nn- The waiter continually wore his mask beneath his nose, which I could see some customers being uncomfortable with.

The best very tasty! We came with three children and grandparents, none of us were disappointed! Veal and pasta were awesome, kids loved meatballs and ate everything cleaned all plates. Definitely will come back for more!nPS very clean beautiful restaurant!

Easily my favorite restaurant in town-I try to go at least twice a month for over 2 years now! Perfect for date night- can dress up or come in your work clothes. Servers are awesome and all have great personalities. They seem genuinely happy to be there. Never had a long wait. Music is just the right level so you can have a conversation while still enjoying the ambiance. And all of the food is amazing! Consistent quality every time. Rich flavors that work great together and comes out at the perfect temperature. Keep up the great work!

Was able to get a table very quickly. Our waitress Kara was very friendly and recommended a very good bottle of wine. As we ordered she indicated very quickly that we could add or substitute items We were able to add what we wanted and the dishes came out exactly as ordered and were excellent. We had just stumbled upon restaurant as several other that we tried were closed but thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend

I took my girl friend to Mutu's for her birthday whilst adventuring in Durango because I had ordered take out a month prior (the champagne salmon dish) and it was so good TO GO, I felt it worth returning. We weren't disappointed. My friend is vegetarian and had several options to choose from, the patio was lovely and our server, Nick, even gave us highly detailed suggestions on where to paddle board nearby. I like to try new places every time but made an exception for Mutu's and would do so again - thanks Mutu's!
