Homegrown Tap & Dough - Arvada

We love this place! It was one of the first restaurants we visited last year when searching to move to Colorado and was one of the reasons we fell in love with this town.nWe’ve been several times since moving here and enjoyed the food and the service.nUntil yesterday. It was around 4:30 and maybe shifts were changing and it took awhile to get a server after we asked. She was great.nThe food missed the mark. My husband got the burger which he said was great I got the roasted beet salad and a side of fries.nThe fries came more cold than hot seemed like they’d been made in a big batch and kept under a heat lamp. I asked for fresh hot ones and the server put in another order for me. They were a little warmer but not very much. They table next to us seemed to have the same complaint.nThe beet salad was tasty but the beets showed no signs of having been roasted and the greens were a bit tired. Not at all what I’d come to expect from this restaurant.nMaybe just an off night for the kitchen?nBummer. Don’t mind spending $$ for food that is as good as what we usually get here but I’m a little sad about our latest experience.n(I’m sure a lot of people think fries are just something to fill up the plate but I love ones done well, the presentation of the fries made them look delicious.☹ufe0f Sad that they weren’t.)

Fun place at great location. Streets are closed due to Covid. Loads of construction work going on in the area so its kinda difficult to get there. Place itself has good vibe. Can’t remember the name of our sever but we loved him and his service. So genuine. Hopefully things get better and Businesses start getting better business and workers can earn what they deserve.

Everything about this place is absolutely amazing. Parking was a little difficult to find the night that we came but the food and drinks are absolutely delicious. Pizza is definitely top notch. Can't wait to eat here again on our next trip into town!

The food and beer was solid. Great selection and really tasty. The pizzas are a really good size, 14 inches.nThe only reason I'm giving it four stars was because of the waiter. Some of his lady friends showed up and he became distracted. Totally understandable.

We sat out on the patio on Sunday for some beers and appetizers. Our server (who's name I can't remember) was wonderful! She was extremely helpful and all of her suggestions were delicious! We will definitely be back.
