The Golden Mill

I love this place! I was directed to go to Golden Mill when I first moved into this area after being out of state for a few years. At first when I saw the building I was unimpressed. It's definitely not big or fancy, but they had exactly what I needed, prices were fair, they were helpful, and it was reasonably close to my house. I continued to go there for my horse feed needs but for some reason I never considered their dog or cat food selection. Then the big box store stopped carrying the brand of food I had been feeding my dog for years. Golden Mill carried the food, and so I explored their selection more and they had EVERYTHING I needed for cats, dogs, and of course the horse. I was so thrilled to be able to help a local business and no longer need to make 2 stops for pet supplies! They always take time to answer any questions I have about food, are budget conscious too (like when I said I had heard good things about a certain brand of food, they agreed it was good, but pointed me to a different brand that was equally good for what I was needing and it was significantly cheaper). They always carry everything to my car for me (usually before I even notice) and always are so pleasant. Never going back to the big box stores again!

This store has everything you will most likely need for your pets or livestock.nThe absolute best part about this store is the staff. You are greeted warmly, given friendly and knowledgeable advice when you need it and your vehicles get loaded up with your purchase before you can get out the door. I highly recommend this place.

We have been shopping at this feed store for years now as we have horses, goats and today we purchased 9 chickens from them. Anytime I call with questions even if I didn't purchase the chicken from them (in the past), they were very helpful! Anytime we go in to Golden Mill the family owed feed store people are so friendly! We will continue to take our business to them for as long as they are around! Thanks Golden Mill Family!

I highly recommend shopping here if you have pets. They stock high quality food and all the necessities; not only that but they are knowledgeable about the products that they do carry. The owner and employees are friendly and nice every time I go in.nnUpdate 4/13/2014: I've continued to shop here like I have for the past 5+ years and have still never had a single bad experience; they have taken care of several special orders that I have placed with them and are just the friendliest, nicest place to shop.
