Buffalo Rose

Visit 11/28/20. Overall, my group of 6 had a pleasant experience. The restaurant has a great aesthetic, and the outdoor seating area is very nice. We were sat quickly and the staff was friendly. My breakfast burrito was nothing special, and maybe a little disappointing. Others enjoyed theirs: salmon tacos and stuffed French toast. The reason for 2 stars comes from my drink order. Me and another in my party both ordered a $6 IPA. Our server notified us that it was sold out and made a suggestion of something that, to my knowledge, was not on the menu. He said it was great and we took his suggestion. When the bill came, our two beers cost a total of $24. Shame on this server for suggesting a beer double the cost of what I originally ordered. Also, shame on me for not asking the price, I guess I just assume the same integrity I had working in the front of house for 10 years in the restaurant industry is the same integrity all servers should have.

Nice spot in Golden! My family and I stopped here for brunch and it was lovely. We sat on the patio/sidewalk and were seated completely separate from other patrons. The employees were very friendly, helpful, checked on us frequently, and always wore their masks. Great service at this spot! The food is good and location is perfect- right on Main Street.

The food is nothing to write home about but the service and ambiance is great! The decor is amazing and the restaurant is built around an original, historic cabin from the first settlers in Golden. The bar area is stunning with high ceilings that open up to an outdoor patio where there is often live music. If you want great ambiance and bar food, this is a great option!

This is a must go to place!! We were debating another place and saw the line for here. We are so glad we came here! The drinks and food were so tasty. Gilbert was the best at helping us decide what we want and giving us information about the bar itself. The venue is newly remodeled, with an industrial look, and very clean! I can’t wait to go back!

Super cool atmosphere for drinking and hanging out! Didn’t order any food but was a super fun place to have a few drinks after walking around town. The bar staff was awesome! The first bartender checked my ID and noticed it was my birthday. He must have told the rest of the staff because everyone I talked to wished me happy birthday! Drinks were delicious, we loved the prickly pear mojito!!
