I want to love this place! I really do. However, after many visits, I can safely conclude that you are guaranteed Luke-warm food if you get the boneless tenders.nnSeriously, I’ve been countless times, and every time I just chalk it up to it being a busy day. I’ve even visited different locations.nnPlain and simple: the food is barely warm.nnMaybe they refrigerate the sauce, and pour it straight on decreasing the temp? Not sure.nnThe sauces are inventive, the service is typically decent, but I just can’t get hot food!

The best and most healthy chicken wings you'll ever eat. I was first introduced to them when I lived in Portland, and then was thrilled to learn that they have locations here in Colorado.nnTons of sauce options, the wings aren't bloated with steroids like other places, and always taste fantastic. Great rotating draft beer taps too..

Used to come here fairly often during pre-covid times, as it was our go-to for wings and good beer (they even once had a beer from my alma mater in Athens, OH once). My review, however, is for my post-covid experience and how much they have adapted. This place used to always be wall-to-wall people and what they have done to ensure that others can practice social distancing while enjoying their awesome wings is amazing. The staff were all wearing their masks, and properly, as well as constantly wiping everything down. They have spaced out the tables and have outdoor dining now as well. Although I placed my order for carry out, I would absolutely feel comfortable dining in. I appreciate how Fire on the Mountain has adapted their business to our new normal and will definitely be back soon. I will be looking forward to when I can sit at the bar and hang out again and while the food and service has always been five stars, to see how hard the staff was working to make sure everything was clean and remain attentive to their customers deserved its own post. Thank you for doing what is right and not just checking a box when it comes to cleanliness and taking precautions against covid. This place rocks!

The seitan wings with spicy peanut sauce. At this point nothing else does it for me. You will end up having your own favorite! Oh man, the tots. Always come out perfect. No more eating disappointing fries ever again. And the beer selection is always fantastic.
