Gold Coin Saloon

Visited with family from Denver. It was so cool to look at the pictures of the place from the 1880s and look around...very little change from the vintage photo!! Felt like I had gone back in time to have a beer! Can't wait to go back!

The heart of Central City. Respect the locals and ask about the people in the photos on the walls. Vintage bar, circa 1890. Ask about the dollar bills on the ceiling. Old mining tradition. Chalk board on the wall where you can buy forward a drink for a friend. Cash only.

I wasn't actually trying to post a rating so I'll bring it to a 3 and say that from the pictures they definitely have that rustic feel you may or may not like in your bar or in this case saloon
