Big 5 Sporting Goods

A friendly store for your sporting goods needs. I'm a frequent shopper of Big 5 when I'm needing sporting goods in western states. Sometimes, they're not a very good experience. In this case, it was a fantastic experience.

they have a $10 off coupon all the time in the value pack and they are awesome for finding shoes excetera at a great price. Now its only 5 dollar coupon and very limited women's selections above 9. Overall downhill each time I have visited. Today marks the end of my relationship with Big 5. Toooo blahhhhh

Great store with medium/high quality sporting products. Staff is always supportive the minute you walk in!

One day sales are difficult to purchase at this location. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE from associate. Businesses should realize the power of consumers and start treating their customers like they are important for the success of their business.nnHere is my experience and reason for not returning.nI asked where the Andi's basketball shorts were. The associate said in clearance but she didn't think they had any, they had about 15 (wrong answet). During checkout I advised the associate of the 1-day coupon. She said clearance is not part of the coupon (wrong answer). I asked why would they put product on clearance and advertise a 1-day sale. She said the coupon states store acceptance. I told her I will not pay more for a product than advertised and left. As I returned to my car, I read the coupon again. It clearly stated the product was on clearance and the additional discounted price with coupon. I went back into the store and discussed it with her. She begrudgingly attempted to ring up the shorts with the coupon. The coupon applied to one pair but not the other. The coupon doesn't say a limit and products were the same just different size and design. BUT... she said it wouldn't apply the coupon to the other pair of shorts. She didn't try to troubleshoot the issue or offer a reasonable answer. I will not return my business to a place that offers rude attitude and poor customer service.

Every time I go in, I get amazing costumer service. No matter the time of day or even how finicky I am being.
