Rumba- Latin Cuisine

Went this afternoon and sat on the elevated patio where you have a perfect view of the mountains! Our server was quick with a basket of (free) plantain chips served with a delicious cilantro sauce. Corona came with a salted rim glass. From the time we ordered our food came rather quickly and hot. The entrees were large enough for each of us to need a box. We were delighted to see the side dishes served were dressed up: the red beans came in a elegant, little, metal bowl served in a soup style with vegetables and delicious stock. The green plantains came flattened and fried with a scrumptious dipping sauce. Server was kind and efficient for our entire stay. We will be back!

I was raised in a home by a mother who took great pride in cooking fantastic meals. During weekends and holidays, our home was center stage for friends and family who were eager to enjoy my mother's fine cooking; and a warm home with Spanish guitar music, dance and drinks! Living in Colorado Springs, a long time has passed since I enjoyed a gathering with family and friends and the experience of eating food that's prepared with heart. At Rumba, which is conveniently located in a nice spot with views of the front range, I ordered the lechon with tostones and sweet plantain. The lechon reminded me of my mother. Nothing, nada, remained on my plate. Very nice casual place. Highly recommended.

Must try place!! Excellent atmosphere.. for future reference a very stylish clean cozy sit down when the pandemic is over. Most importantly excellent Authentic food. Very nice staff!!

Delicious food at reasonable prices. The service was good, and the entree was on the table within minutes of us finishing the appetizer. The server was attentive without being intrusive.nWe will definitely eat here again.

The food was good and so was the service. I can't give it five stars only because there was a Cuban restaurant in Key West that was the five star standard for me. This food wasn't quite that good but I would come back. The green sauce was really tasty and that's a huge compliment from me because I HATE cilantro and the sauce had cilantro in it but I still liked it. So major kudos for that.
