Beltran's Grill

Legit Mexican food with the right touch of modern for me. My favorite was the al pastor tacos. Think street taco so bot huge but mostly meat, the way I like em. Currently they have a deal for 2 dollar tacos before 6pm during the week for happy hour. Medium to small sized restaurant but we were spread out decently, I would probably call if showing up with a big group because they may not have the room. Best tacos I've had up north.

Food was great. However... I've had 2 pretty bad experiences so far. First time, I ordered online for delivery. About the time the food was supposed to show up, we get an email saying our order was cancelled due to some menu item being out of stock. No phone call or option to get the rest of my order or anything. My second attempt a few weeks later, tried calling to place an order but no one answered the phone. I placed an order in person for take out and was told the food should be ready in 45 minutes. 35 minutes later, I show back up and am informed my order will be another 20 minutes. I wait another 35 on location and finally get my food (which albeit was delicious).

It may sound strange but my favorite part of the meal was the side of black beans I ordered. Such a simple food, easy to prepare but very hard to prepare perfectly. Cooked to ideal consistency, minimal spices, just fantastic black beans. I could eat those every day with every meal.

There are many Mexican restaurants around but none that offer a unique and enjoyable experience as here. I want to try everything! All the tacos taste amazing! And the Tortas are delicious. The staff offers a wonderful family atmosphere and they keep it clean. Their lunch service is quick too! I hope you enjoy as much as I do!

Mexican food and service at this location is super good. Great place to meet and catch up with friends. The service here is above par. The bill won't shock you. Feels like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed visiting.
