The Post Brewing Co. - Lafayette

Our first meal in Colorado for vacation and it did not disappoint! I played it safe with chicken tenders but got the garlic fries. Let me tell ya, if you don’t order the garlic fries...you have messed up. They are amazing! We stuffed ourselves but couldn’t leave one behind. The smoked wings were also great and the hatch green chili Mac gets an honorable mention. The atmosphere was great and the weather was perfect to eat outside. They took CoVID precautions seriously and our waiter was very friendly. This was a win of a meal for us!

Eaten here a few times before covid, and have since gotten take out several times. The food is very tasty and the beer is great. If you like Nashville hot chicken, they have some that tastes great but won't make you sweat too much like the real deal. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is that they're a bit on the pricey side.

I adore this restaurant and will drive all the way from Denver to get their fried chicken. During the pandemic, they were one of the quickest places in Lafayette to adapt to safety procedures, even before state guidelines made them mandatory. They continue to uphold safe environments with both indoor and outdoor seating and top notch togo/curbside pick up. The food is why you will keep coming back though!

Tonight I ordered the waffles and chicken. Very disappointing! The portion was very small for $17 only half a waffle and a 3-4 oz portion of very thin (maybe 1/2 inch thick) fried chicken breast with 4 sauces.nThe waffle was soggy even without any sauce on it and the chicken was dry. Thank goodness for the 4 sauces as without them this was not edible. I had heard good things about their mashed potatoes so perhaps that's what I should have ordered. I love waffles and chicken but this was a total miss!
