Good inside social distancing. Prices have gone up as they have everywhere.

Sometimes you just want a home cooked type meal. Was I the youngest person in there by 30 years? Sure. But was the food good, the restaurant clean, and the service friendly? Also, yes. All in all, a great experience.

Three of us had a late lunch. We were seated immediately and a waitress came straight over. Our food arrived in a timely manner and the server was attentive but not intrusive. The food was fresh and very good. Overall a great experience. We will come back.

It was our 30th Wedding Anniversary and we wanted some good ole fashion home like cooked food. While the food was pretty good, except their corn bread, which crumbled in your hands. The service was the worse we've ever had in a restaurant. We had to ask for our soup and salad, as well as my husbands coke. She never brought the crackers he asked for. Though she was not the one to bring our food, we saw her go back and forth, she never once came to our table to ask if everything was ok. I had to ask someone else to bring me pepper, and a box later on, and our check eventually.nWe will never go back to the black eyed pea.

Amazing food. And large portions. Great people working and really good chicken fried steak.
