Toro Latin Kitchen & Lounge

Wow this place is awesome! I had been here several years ago and I remember it being good, but I recently came back and my experience was great. You pretty much walk in and order your food and afterwards you can walk to the back where they have some cool seating, atmosphere is pretty fun and also has a bar vibe. They have various types of sausages, as well as beers. I really enjoyed the chicken apple sausage and their fries! This is unique and you really can't find it elsewhere. They have different sauces to dip the fries and it's just bomb! It really adds good flavors to fries and it's the perfect touch.

This is my new favorite Latin restaurant in Denver! A lovely blend of Central America cuisine with some Peruvian and Argentinian influences. Our server Nick was attentive and friendly. The drinks were creative. The agua fresca palate cleanser was a fun touch to welcome us. We loved the burrata, the empanadas, and the swordfish appetizers. Having been to Peru and falling in love with ceviche with amarillo aji, this unfortunately did not live up to my expectations (outside of the stunning presentaron). Everything else was excellent. Unfortunately the patio was full, and I thought I requested it, but the interior was just lovely.

This past Sunday me and friend decided to stop by Toro @ Cherry Creek and already planning a return visit with fellow friends. Adam, our server, was very knowledgeable and his encouragement to try out the $50 brunch made it worth every penny. Not one thing was out of place. Already have recommended to fellow patrons as a bartender and highly encourage them to go see Adam.

Went for happy hour and sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. The space was beautiful and inviting but was still second to the service we received from the bartender micheal. The food is classic Latin dishes with a twist and I wasn't disappointed by a single item. Very fun place to get a couple cocktails and a bite. Ill be back soon!

YUM. I have been going to the restaurants inside the JW for years for the amazing ambiance, but finally the food and service are also that great! Tried Toro with a girlfriend last week and everything was delicious and beautiful. They seem to have finally figured it out. Plus even the indoor dining area is open to outside so it’s a great option for safe dining at the moment. I can’t wait to drag my husband here for a date night soon!
