Mahi Tempura Sandwich to die for.

Cuba Cuba Sandwicheria is my favorite fast casual dining. Food is consistently delicious, portions are perfect and prices are reasonable. They also make great cocktails and Cuban style coffee.

Great spot in Glendale for a drink and quick meal. Serving staff are helpful and friendly. Convenient location with plenty of room to enjoy yourself with friends socially distanced.

Update: Sadly this owner is as clueless as his employees as shown by his response. It wasn’t a $1 upcharge as I suggested to the waiter. They simply wouldn’t allow me to have a salad as a side unless I bought the salad full price in addition. ****Love this location with it’s amazing patio space, lots of social distancing, no street noise. Staff was friendly enough but true customer service was definitely lacking. We waited forever to have our order taken despite being one of only a couple tables and being there before the others. I was truly disappointed that there is no side salad option with your sandwich. Cuban sandwiches are not exactly healthy eating so I inquired if I could substitute my two sides for a salad even with a small upcharge. I was told NO, the salad is too big to be a side?! I finally got the waiter to go ask a superior and he came back with that I had to pay full price for the salad if I wanted to substitute it. Since sides on the menu are around $3 and you get two I didn't think my request to substitute a $4 salad was a stretch no matter how “large” it was. Please add a side salad option for lunch- and remember the customer is always right- something could have been worked out. I won’t be back. And if others had a similar distasteful experience that explains why this great patio was well- empty.

Second time there, did not disappoint. I got the cuba cuba salad - just right. Spouse got pork, black beans and rice - so good! Sweet plantains, perfect. And a Margie was nice. All good, reasonably priced.
