I'm a couple weeks behind on writing my review but I wanted to give a HUGE thank you to all my nurses:nBethnNatalianJodynSarahnnNA:nWhitneynAmandanAlexisnBrocknnAnyway, they were all so so amazing and I couldn't thank them enough for the amazing care that not only they gave me but to their other patients. This was my very first hospital stay, I was terrified and I honestly couldn't be any more pleased. Everyone went above and beyond. I'm still alive because of them and the amazing Dr's here. I am so thankful for each and every one of you. THANK YOU for all that you do

I realize that Covid has made the medical profession have extra stress because they’re worried about their own safety as well as their as their families but it’s very frustrating as a patient to go to an ER with symptoms and be released and not have a full work up and have doctors who should know the answer to basic medicine leave a patient hanging. In other words what I’m saying is if you come to a medical establishment and you’re taking certain medications and you have certain symptoms there’s only a realm of possible answers and not even trying to come up with an answer or knowing anything about medication seems very faulty.nnMaybe the stress of Covid is making it so doctors aren’t feeling like they can practice good medicine but if you prescribe medications you really should know the side effects and symptoms. If you are talking to patients in any ER and they are talking about their medications isn’t it helpful to know possible side effects that would put a person in the ER?nnI am extremely tired of using Dr. Google as my back up to find out what’s going on with me.nnToday I had a visit at Spokane Valley ER where I was not given the complete picture and a full work up was not done. I went home and checked Dr. Google and boom there it was.nI’m OK if a doctor or nurse practitioner says they don’t have an answer but I’m really frustrated with people that don’t ask questions and go well let’s figure this out medicine used to be like that now it’s just about billing insurance companies.nnI actually have a potentially serious problem that now I’m monitoring myself because the medical personnel that I’ve consulted don’t seem to address anything. I was actually told today at Spokane Valley hospital ER that if my symptoms reoccurred ignore them don’t worry just wait a while maybe they’ll go away but I have a injury that could actually be a problem. I found out from Dr. Google that the medication I’m taking can actually cause pretty significant side effects. And I can’t say anything positive about not doing a full work up about the injury that I have. Let’s just hope nothing is really wrong.

I have chest pain went in and they did a ekg and took blood. Said not life threatening if it gets worst come back. I don’t three days later same pain same test. I’m glad it’s not life threatening as I’m hoping but still have pain. They said either panic attack or heart burn. But now it’s 8 days later still same pain. I figured a hospital would help me figure out why this pain in my chest is from! I’m still really scared!

Have seen many doctors over the years for many issues. One doctor was the most sympathetic and caring that I ever had the chance to speak to. Julia E Ojcius, MD was really a pleasure during a time of crisis. Please keep the excellent work.

First time at Valley Hospital for precancerous polyp removal from my appendix. I was a little leery after reading some of the reviews, but I must say, I think they are talking about the wrong hospital. My time spent there from getting a COVID test and then most of the following day for the surgery was very pleasant as far as dealing with the staff. The nurses were fantastic and my surgeon was great. They were kind, attentive and very professional. Would have no problems recommending this hospital or returning for a future visit.
