Helga's German Restaurant & Deli

This place is absolutely amazing. The service had been impeccable every time I've been here. Even when they're slammed, their kindness and willingness to help each other makes everything go smoothly.nnThe food is unmatched in my experience. I always get the bratwurst dinner (bier and smoked for me) and my girlfriend gets the chicken schnitzel.nnA nice apple strudel to top it off and we're as happy as can be. As long as we live in Colorado, we will find our way to Helga's!

Shout out to Austin! I crave Helga's to go from time to time and asked my husband to grab something for me on his way home. Once he arrives, he tells me how nice and friendly the cashier was. He describes him and I'm like, oh yeah I remember working with him. I hope Helga's is treating him good, because he is an amazing waiter! He will definitely keep customers coming back!

As always, really nicely prepared German style food. The waitress, of course, doesn't know German food, and, beyond that, was running around in a bit of disarray. Strange, in a half full restaurant... Appetizer took a while to get to the table, and then all the food came at once...We felt rushed through our meal, which was unfortunate. We love Helga's and will always come back. It's important to support local business in this time of crisis. Still, it would be nice if the owner/manager types would educate the waitstaff in the finer points of wursts and such. If my waitress knew what a Weisswurst was, it'd be so much more authentic feeling.

Usually when you go to a restaurant to have a beer and talk, they tend to try push you out after awhile. My father and I came and had drank beer and sat and talked for about three hours here and the hospitality was superb the entire time. During our time there, we even managed to come in contact with three waitresses as they would approach and say they are done for the day and will transition us to another waitress. All three waitresses were superb. Only gripe I have about the establishment is that they only serve their famous Hungarian Goulash on Friday. Overall, love the place and great atmosphere with superb staffing.

I go to this lovely spot quite a bit! This is my favorite restaurant to have a bite. I go to this spot routinely. The meals are of high quality, the workers are welcoming and the price is fair. I like meeting in this restaurant over a tasty dinner.
