Sugarfire Smoke House

So good!! Been wanting to try their food, decided to splurge. We did take out, pick up. It was ready at time they said. All items packaged individually and labeled. We got 4 combo plates pulled pork and brisket. Meat was tender and tasty and a good amount, 2 meals for me. We tried potato salad, coleslaw and fries, all delicious. Sauces were good,, fairly mild so not real vinegar. Then, we each had sugar pie. So delicious. Staff was great.. Definitely recommend this place.

My dad enjoyed his half rack, my mom and I each enjoyed the rainbow trout. My parents liked the cornbread though I prefer a sweeter, finer grained cornbread. My mom said the coleslaw tasted like only cabbage and that it needs mayo and pickle juice. The mac and cheese wasn't very cheesy and tasted quite buttery. It was good but when you want it to be cheesy, it's a bit of a letdown. The fries were good. Didn't care for the music being played. The workers were all friendly and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our meals and would go back. But next time will try the potato salad and baked beans.

Wow - what a disappointment... Ordered online for takeaway and was told our order would be ready in 30 minutes. We arrived on time, but our food wasn't ready for another 30 minutes. Unfortunately, it wasn't the whole order that wasn't ready - so our sandwiches sat under a heat lamp for 30 minutes while they figured out our sides. Meanwhile, other customers ordered at the counter and received their food within minutes. When we finally did get our food, it was remarkably average... If you want great BBQ and good service, try G-Cue or Jim & Nick's - both are much better than Sugarfire...

One of the best barbecue spots in North Denver! They have a patio area and social-distanced tables inside. The food is great and fairly priced for what you get. I recommend their ribs and brisket!
