Really disappointed in my first in store experience. A friend of mine who wears a bunch of Red Wing boots advised me on exactly what type of oil I needed for my 8111s for what I planned to use the boots for. After going into the Arvada store I got nothing but high pressure sales tactics from Ken. All he wanted to do was get me to spend more money than I needed or wanted to and showed little to no interest in what was best for me or my boots. I even had a picture of the oil and told him several time, he still pressed a different product on to me. When I finally gave up and said I will just take both products he seemed surprised that I still wanted the original product I went in for. Not sure how I feel about Red Wing anymore. Shopping in stores is such a hassle and going in the other day was no exception. Now I am sitting here with a useless brush and some conditioner I have no intention of ever using.

Great service and good products. Found a great pair of steel toes made in the USA and got my wife a pair of boots too. The even exchanged my wife’s pair for a bigger size after she wore em and found they where to small.

Glad I chose my own shoes size. The guy was belligerent about me getting a smaller size. I rejected his opinion; it’s been a few year and my Iron Ranger are still the perfect size :) poor customer service and they always try to crush your feet into a tiny boot. I’ve wasted $300 before, won’t happen again.

I [formerly] highly recommended red wing shoe stores and even bought boots for many friends and coworkers but after a recent experience of a salesman (under direction from a remote manager) tried to force my employee to wear a mask, even though he is medically exempt, I am boycotting Red Wing Shoe Stores. The salesman then began interrogating him (HEPA VIOLATION) about his condition and continued trying to force him to go against his medically recommended exemption. After spending over $10k in their stores through my life for myself and many friends, coworkers, employees and family, I will no longer support their stores and continue to tell everyone about how they treated a guy just wanting to buy some boots.

The salesman was rude. He wouldn't let us speak, and gave us trouble over a voucher from my husband's work. We finally got the work boots, but won't come back to this location.
