Took my mom in to the hospital for complaint of severe abdominal pain that may have something to do with a kidney stone. They were busy so the wait time was well over six hours. But what was upsetting was they said she left but couldn't. She was there by herself with no ride. Very unpleasant experience for both of us. She had a hypoglycemic episode due to no food or water the entire time there so we ended up leaving without having any luck seeking medical care. Heard they are known for bad care but had no idea it would be this bad.

This place has always been not busy, and unable to take people into the rooms with serious concerns with body issues. No one should wait 3 hours to get into a hospital soon for something that is giving them major anxiety about their health even if it is not a immediate emergency, to many people lack the access to getting doctor appointments in reasonable time restraint so that is what the emergency room is for. This hospital does not want to help those in a bad condition. It hurts people to be somewhere very long with no progress to their health concerns. Unprofessional, especially when there is only one person waiting to get in.

Got here with a sick six year old at 2:30 on a Saturday and there were literally three people waiting. Two and a half hours later we are sitting in the ER waiting room by ourselves. Nobody else has been in the waiting for over a half hour. I think maybe they forgot about us. 2 hours and 45 minutes, still no patients, no nurses, no anyone, just us waiting by ourselves. Do not come here. Drive to Mount Shasta and go to Mercy. I will never come here again.

I had an amazingly good experience at this hospital, including successful surgery and caring staff. I even slept at night because my nurse was so quiet! And the food is absolutely wonderful, which is amazing in itself. Everyone there seemed to love their jobs and caring for sick people. A truly wonderful experience!

My Grandma suffered a massive stroke and was a patient for 5 days. Not only did ALL the nursing staff take excellent care of my Grandma, they were extremely kind and caring to all of us family. The admin staff was just as wonderful, they helped us, with any and all paperwok and insurance issues, & to coordinate hospice and get her home for me to take care of her. The doctor that took care of her was wonderful in explaining her health issues and needs in a way she was able to understand and come to her own decisions. Thank you again from all of our family for the amazing care.
