Policies can be adjusted per branch and the “supervisor” on 8/11/2020 was unwilling to make any adjustments. By calling corporate it was verified that a California drivers license is a legal document even in a name change situation. They make it awfully difficult to cash a check for a class action lawsuit against them. This is why I stopped banking with Wells Fargo years ago! Chase gladly deposited the check with no issue.
