Called because I live an hour away. The lady on the phone was snippy and sarcastic. Not what you want to hear when you are dealing with a blood clot . I asked for help to either schedule blood testing or just general help since I don’t have a primary doctor . Whoever picked up on the circuit board today needs to learn customer service and realize some people don’t come to the hospital all the time and just need help, guidance, and recommendations. Not some woman with no achievement to give someone who is ill and scared an attitude. And everyone wonders why everyone goes out of county to be treated .
If you have to go here. And I mean have to.... then this might be a good place other wise if you know your going to live for a least a few more hours, go anywhere but here. In fact if you have to go here because its the only place you can go. Look up your local mortuary and go there. Just cut out the middle man. Would give this place 0 or negative stars if such things existed. Just don't go here... Covid 19 is safer than this place...
Worst hospital in existence. Not only is the emergency room wait time in excess of at least 6 hours each time, their billing department is terrible, AND they misdiagnosed a broken wrist telling me it was my elbow.nnI received medical attention in 2015 for my wrist. They told me my elbow was broken and put a cast on that left my wrist exposed. Came back weeks later because my wrist was still hurting. The “doctor” said oh actually it’s your wrist that’s broken, not your elbow. I have no clue how anyone would confuse the two.nnMy insurance covered this visit. 5 years later in 2020 I get a faulty bill from a collections agency for this visit. My credit score crashed. All for nothing.. I had insurance that covered the whole visit.. On top of this, I never received even one bill in these 5 years. Yet it randomly appears in collections in 2020. I now have to prove to the collectors that I did have insurance, and my credit score is not salvageable. Ruined my credit because their billing department waited 5 years to incorrectly send it to collections. Also, Ruined my wrist as it still pops and hurts to this day.
I came in for an ear infection, ( witch is a corona symptom not to the knowledge of the doctor)I let them know I had a cough head ache and stuffy nose and suggested a corona test. I was told that my symptoms are not serious enough to be tested. And I should just go about my life normally. Disgusting
I don’t recommend this hospital, rude nurses, poor slow service. I had a friend of the family’s son who died at this hospital due to poor And under educated care so when the mom of the son was in a car accident the ambulance was going to take her to this hospital because it’s in their district but she said absolutely not and refused to go to mad river. So I hate to say it but even if I was extremely hurt I’d take the chances and spend an extra 15 mins to make it to Saint Josephs in Eureka...I’d give it zero stars if I could.
