My wife took our 2 year old son for his 10am appointment, she arrived at 9:45 to check in. She paid the co pay and was told to have a seat and they will be called shortly. 10:30 still waiting, she asks the receptionist if she's next. Same Receptionist tells her you didn't check in. Wow, my wife says what you don't remember me want to see my receipt. Receptionist took the money and forgot to check her in? And she was sitting in front of her the whole time. No wonder everything takes so long at kaiser. Poor management, when she told the doctor, doctor didn't seem surprised. We will make sure we don't use that receptionist next time and avoid this Kaiser if we can in the future.

I'm not sure why the other rater gave them a 2 star. They left no feedback or reason why they gave it such a rating.nnI felt like it was only fair that I try and balance out the rating a bit with my own review. It didn't seem right that this location has an overall 2 star rating from 1 vote.nnI had a really good trip to this location, I usually go to Oxnard. The doctor was very clear, answers all of my questions, and assisted me with things that I would have had to return (and wait for) my normal doctor. Very helpful.nnI then had to get my blood drawn, the nurse who did so was the best I've ever had. I had the most blood taken than I have ever had to before, and it was over before I knew it. Usually drawing blood is difficult on my body, but there was no sign of that. No bruise or mark either.nnOverall a completely stress free trip.

A bit impersonal and cold. As a new patient I expected some more time reviewing my medical history and making sure Doctor and patient were aligned on the goals. I may return to see how things go, but I'd love to stay with my old doctor.
