I was recently hospitalized at Sierra View for five days. The care that I received was excellent. The doctors and nurses were attentive and kind, and ensured that I was well enough prior to be discharged. Thank you to SVMC’s teams! Keep up the good work! You are truly heroes!
My son was seen there on 8/23/2020.. For a deep wound on his elbow . all staff was great and caring from the time we arrived . His nurse in the ER was sweet and caring. And comforting to my son when he was scared to get the stiches done.. She even offered her phone to watch something on youtube to distract him.... I just want to say thank you for all the doctors and nurses and other staff for all their hard work..
In this time of Covid isolation and being unable to visit someone in the hospital, it seems to me more important than ever that the hospital communicates with loved ones who have a hard time finding out what is going on. The patient (me at this point) isn't always able to remember exactly what was said by the dr and might not give the best information to those waiting for info. It seems to me to be in the best interest of the patient and the hospital and doctors to have a patient advocate let the family know what is going on. More later
Honestly Idk why this hospital has so many bad reviews...I guess it depends on the day u go if they are in a bad mood or good mood...The times that I had gone to the ER for myself and my daughter we have been treated very good...Also in the delivery section floor the nurses are always nice to me...I had great experience with both my baby deliveries...And now yesterday 11/23/20 I had surgery and I was treated great by all the staff...Or maybe they look rude or sound rude if u the patient talk back to them...But I had had great visit experiences...
My sister brought me to the ER us both thinking that even though I was feeling awful that it wasn't life threatening, but I was taken to the back after a short wait and after my EKG things happened FAST. I was having a heart attack and everyone that helped me was fantastic, they got me hooked up and ready for the ambulance in what seemed like seconds, I'm very thankful for them all, otherwise I'm sure I wouldn't be here now.
