If you have Kaiser insurance, cancel it. This place is trash. Actively harmful to the community.

Witch doctors dispensing pre-medieval era care. This applies to R.P. & S.R. facilities. After my employer’s agent squares me away, I hope to never again be dependent on Kaiser Permanente’s phony insurance.

I had my first ever colonoscopy/endoscopy on 10/6/2020. Drinking all the prep liquid overnight was a challenge, and when I arrived for the procedure, I was nervous and anxious. But the nurses there calmed me down, and the doctor was great. I was feeling better about everything when the sedative took effect. So, the medical staff were excellent. You don't need to worry about a colonoscopy at this office.nnMy only criticism is this.... I don't agree with the discharge procedure. I was still far too sedated to be discharged. I don't remember getting dressed, or being put in a wheelchair, or being taken down the elevator to the car waiting to take me home. I do remember getting in the car, but I was staggering and needed help to get in it. Once in the car, my wife says I slumped over and couldn't follow commands to sit up and buckle my seat belt. I don't remember the ride home. I don't remember getting my pajamas on and going back to bed. I believe I was too sedated to be discharged. I could have used at least another 30 minutes in the recovery area before being discharged to regain a better level of awareness. I think being that sedated while being discharged is a very dangerous gamble that could end up in a bad way.

I took my child into the ER on Sunday. Patients were sitting outside with chairs not six feet apart. Many patients were not wearing masks. I took pictures and have reported it to public Health. A person inside was being tested for Covid next to my son. It seems like people whom they suspect may have Covid should not be in the same area as other patients. As for the patients outside not wearing masks and not socially distancing themselves, they were possibly infecting other patients And we're definitely not following proper protocol. I reported it to the security guard on duty and he told me I should call his supervisor when he returned during the week. I contacted the supervisor and have heard nothing in return I also have reached out to Kaiser and they have not returned my calls. Beware!
