Bill's Wheels Skateshop

It was so big and it had everything that you needed to skate, from clothes to board. They where also super helpful. My brother who ended up buying a board wanted to put the grip tape on by his self. The person that helped us was watching him and when he messed up he was there to helped him and the gave him back the board to keep going. He also taught him stuff that would help him in the future.

As a beginner looking for my first board I was nervous going into a store with experienced skaters shopping around . I wasn’t sure if their staff was going to be helpful or friendly. The first store I shopped at was in downtown Santa Cruz, they had a smaller selection and nobody to help educate me on which board would be best for me. After looking online for another shop I came across Bill’s Wheels. I took another trip to Santa Cruz to check it out .nnNeedless to say I was not disappointed. When I walked in I immediately noticed the selection of boards displayed, as well as the clothing and accessories. They had everything you would need, shoes, clothes, tools, wheels, trucks, boards of every kind from top brands.nnI was greeted within 3 min of looking at a board and the guy didn’t mind answering all of my questions. I was looking for a long board , mainly for commuting purposes. He not only showed me some good boards but also what the differences were between them and what to avoid. I love when a rep doesn’t just tell me what to get but educates me on the reason why. To top things off, the owner Bill was there and he was actually assisting customers. He was so friendly and helpful, and listened to my short story on how this is my first board, and my first time in California.nnI definitely recommend this place to anyone new or experienced looking for a board or any service. They were also putting boards together for people and repair ones that needed it.

Bill's wheel's is definitely the place to go for any skateboard or accessory you might need or want. It's always been my go to spot. Thanks Bill for you're support and always being there when I was a kid. AKA Rob D.

They were very nice and friendly. They had a bunch of decks and they let me try some to see which one felt the best. They have Nike SB, Vans, Converse, Lakai, Emerica, and DC shoes. They gave me a free sticker for my board too. They are wearing masks and sell masks too. Will definitely come back next time I’m in Santa Cruz

Great place has a surprisingly good shoe selection and pretty much whatever board brand you could be looking for
