Kaliki's Hawaiian Shave Ice

When we first walked in we were not greeted. We were rudely asked if we had been there before. We have not and told them so. Next question is what are you in for shaved ice? Which was a yes. They then pointed out a form at the end of the counter to fill out. They were all upside down and I didn't realize there was another side to it. The girl told me no and that there was another side. Which I then filled out correctly. Should have walked out then. They didn't know their products and acted like they didn't want to be there. My husband wanted the Italian ice red bull which they seemed put out to make and asked him size. We didn't know what sizes they came in so they were rude about that to which point my husband began to get irritated and frustrated with them. Both girls poorly explained everything and were put out if asked any questions. It was a very poor experience. The shaved ice was very good but not served like I have had other places.nThey put it in a little bowling instead of a stryrofoam cup like other places. Made a mess and not easy to take to go. Wasn't worth the price. And really wasn't any different than regular shaved ice stands in other places. Overall it was over priced and bad customer service. I really wanted to like it but two teenagers that act like they have better places to be was just not good. I don't need a comment from the owner about discussing as I laid out the issues and it is now a manager issue.

Great place for the price. I like how its clean and friendly. Was the only customer there and my order got to me quick. Would love to see more ice cream combo recipes pls. :)

Fun little shop offering delicious, real shaved ice with a great assortment of flavors. Also serving ice cream and shakes. Like being in Hawaii!

Ice-cream is great! Really great selection of flavors and an extensive menu. I gave it a 3 because I was disappointed to see the store jam packed with no social distancing. There is a requirement to wear masks in public places yet several customers were in this very packed small space with no masks; I politely asked them to put their masks on because I was uncomfortable with it and they refused. The servers did not ask them to put their masks on and it just seemed really crazy to me in the midst of a pandemic. I would recommend the ice-cream store but approach with caution or pre- order for pick up if you want to maintain social distancing, there really is no system in place to distance customers. The owners should consider how to manage this in future when so many other businesses are working hard to work with the requirements. It’s safety for all.

We live an hour away and it was our first outing with our baby. I had been looking forward to this for such a long time. We arrived there a little before 7pm on Thursday and they were closed. I called multiple times and then again the next day and not once did someone answer the phone. We were so disappointed that we went out of our way for this.
