Meriwest has been consistently disappointing. They are extremely difficult to work with at all times. This branch closes before their posted closing time, making it difficult for 9-5 employees to use their services. Their online login system breaks frequently, making it difficult to access your online banking account.nnI do not have reliable access to my own funds due to Meriwest's lack of competence :-(

Whilst I do appreciate Meriwest staying open during this pandemic I wish the employees would wear masks when attending to customers inside the Bank.nThe customers all had masks on. But the clerks did not!nWe understand that distancing isn’t always possible when handing over documents etc. but shouldn’t the clerks be mandated to wear masks in accordance with widely published guidelines?

The upper management of this bank needs to have a sit down and have a heart to heart with the people on the ground floor actually doing the work. They are perpetually understaffed and they're technology is atrocious. Every transaction is it's own unique IT issue that takes 30x as long as it should.nnThe people actually working inside the bank are helpful, friendly and doing their best. God bless their souls.

most disturbing experience. i’ve been member for over 30 yrs. started when Varian Credit Union. i was buying a used car and planned on paying cash. i went to credit union day in advance to confirm cash availability and spoke with manager Rosa or Rose and she verified no problem. came in next day and they denied withdrawal stated i needed to notify them before withdrawal and i needed my wife present since in account. i did notify them in advance and they did not inform me wife needs to be present. most upsetting it was the same manager Rosa and she denied she spoke to me the day prior and lied. she then asked me to leave the bank.nthis women needs to be fired immediately.

I went to the branch to open a non-profit account and they gave me a bunch of forms to fill out and I had to go back the next day. I asked so many questions and yet they still failed to inform me one good bit of information! That we needed a secretary to sign. Even when we discussed the signature authority portion they still failed to let me know. Yes it’s written on the form but if you’re discussing signatures don’t they think it should have been mentioned? Sad to say, when I came back the next day I still could not open an account because there were still information I didn’t about and The application was still incomplete! What a waste of time!!!
