Infinite Aquarium

Infinite Aquarium is such an amazing store with a very warm and inviting space, and it's often rare to find hidden gems like this store. It is a great place for entry level to advanced hobbyists to see many different species of fish, invertebrates, and plants! The selection was still plentiful even during their exciting renovations. Customer service was great and efficient during a busier time in the afternoon and everything was reasonably priced and healthy, especially compared to other local stores. All the live stock and plants I bought are lively and doing great in quarantine. Will be coming back soon for more!

Got there today right at 12pm when they opened. There was a handful of people there right at opening so the two staff members hand their hands full. I’m a first time wanna be aquarium hobbiest. Got my first bowl and needed plants, chemicals, hard scale and fish. No one greeted me and the place was a mess since I think they are rebuild half the store which is great if that’s the case. The stock was low on everything. Could be because of the remodel, drop in business from coronavirus, or just because it was the end of the week. After I asked for help, the young white guy with shaggy hair was very knowledgeable. But being a brand knew hobby for me, he might as well have been a talking parrot. I could have gotten everything I needed off Amazon but wanted to get some one on one time with someone who could walk me through my first purchase. Long story short I got what I needed. The guy didn’t even say thank you or good bye. He gave me my bag and continued telling the second Asian employee about eating 240 calories in hard boiled eggs and not having anything else for lunch. So let me offer this young man some advice. You don’t appear to be working out hard enough to be at the point of worrying about calories intake or macronutrient breakdown. Instead focus on being a little more respectful and courteous or customers will just order their needs online.

Price has gone up!!!nnThis place used to be my go to place for everything aquarium. They had good pricing range and reasonable selections.nnEver since they became more popular, prices for most on their stocks had gone way up. Their prices are close to Neptune Aquarium now, with much smaller inventory.nnI understand people need to make a living and pay for expenses. I guess I just no longer feel I need to support them. I can now go to Clear Water Aquarium for better prices or Neptune for better selections.

This store is split, half fresh water and half marine, their plant and coral selection is amazing for a medium sized aquatic store. I've been to different places all over the Bay Area and I like the liveliness their livestock shows most.nnThis is a smaller store so they don't have a lot of employees, but the owner that's in there is a very kind dude with a great interest in his hobby, business, and community. He lets you browse a bit before checking in on you, is open to questions and discussions, and moves quickly to get you what you like.nnPrices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of critter that you're bringing home. Make the trip when they're open, they post all of their stock on Facebook, it's 100% worth the drive.
