I've been a Wells Fargo customer for over 20 years. They refuse to conduct the most basic of transactions without bizarre policy barriers. For example just needing some simple change from a larger denomination bill such as a 50 or a 100 broken into something smaller like tens or twenties. They absolutely won't do this without requiring biometric account verification, password entry and generating a transaction receipt. Insanity. If you're not a customer they won't make change for you whatsoever. Isn't this supposed to be a bank after all? If Wells Fargo will not even make simple change for the public, what use are they as a bank? Considering closing all my accounts and finding a local bank or credit union.
