Terrible service. I talked to them last Jan about some slabs of sandstone to cover a coffee table two end tables. Then recently went over to check out the sandstone. Ended up purchasing a piece that was 23x27 " for just over two hundred. They texted me when it was ready for pickup... Drove over to Kanab (1.5 hour drive each way) to get there and find out that they undercharged me. I was suppose to cost approximately $600 rather than the two I paid. They were willing to let me have it as the price I paid... however they knew I wanted two more bigger pieces that they told me would cost over $5000. What I don't understand is why they couldn't tell me that before I spent three hours driving over there an back. Then I figure that if my first piece would of cost just over $600 then the price is about $0.96 per sq inch. Given that the price should of been less that $2400 for the additional two pieces... NOT $5000. Of course I got my money back and will look for a different solution. Even the additional $2400 was more that what I was expecting considering the price of the first piece.
The workers have such an amazing attitude! The product is so unique and interesting! Such a fun unique shop! I highly recommend!
We visited the place when we were in Kanab for the balloon festival this year. Unfortunately, the weather kept the balloons from doing their thing, but it allowed us to fully explore the town and this little gem. They have a wide variety of sandstone art and other things and very friendly staff.
Fossils, fossilized wood, minerals.. beautiful shop! I would love to come back some day and go on the hike of a lifetime. Greetings from The Netherlands
