Good food and drinks, maybe a little on the spendy side for what you get, but it's a small town
The food was fabulous. The service was sub par, disorganized. They need to work on it. Took about an hour to get our food too.
My sis and I are driving from back east through the states. We are zigzagging the scenic routes. Are at a small local hotel that recommended this place.
1- awkward parking situation
2-got right in and seated. Only 2 other couples at end of their meal so expected better service
3-poor service, we got menus and were forgotten.
45 minutes later we adddressed our waitress. She was apologetic but clueless.
Finally got a very expensive, sub-par meal.
I guess it pays to be local. My meal was a (frozen) FRESH grilled salmon.
I guess I'm just not a sub par eater. I do not recommend if you want a quality meal.
I've been to this place twice while hunting around Monticello. The service is great and the food is delightful. Off the beaten path for sure, but well worth it.
What a unique spot! We enjoyed our dinner and staff were very friendly. The interior feels kind of like a speakeasy and they have a nice back patio as well. It's attached to a bed and breakfast. I got the salmon, garlic mashed potatoes and green beans and all were well seasoned and tasted great. Also got a piña colada which was yummy!
