Went in Thursday had an appointment made for Saturday. Confirmed the time of appointment Friday. Showed up at 9:20am Saturday. Was told to sit in my car and wait to schedule another time. So i woke up my newborn after finally getting him to sleep after a long night, rushed my two other children out of bed to make it on time and drove down to find out they hadn't scheduled an appointment. Absolutely unreal ud83dudc4f so happy i wasted my entire morning. Can't believe even with everything on computer's that they still managed to drop the ball. Maybe they should get it together and do their job properly. Thanks again! From the reviews i see its not the first time.nUpdate my wife made another appointment on Monday was told 11:20 called in to double check to find out its not 11:20 its actually 11:40. What is going on here total joke

My children have been patients at Skagit Pediatrics for over 4 years and we have always thought of them as a 5-star pediatrician, recommended them to others, truly loved them! I am saddened that I even feel the need to write this review.nnThere were two instances of my scheduling an appointment for a simple well child check that resulted in an additional appointment. The first time I figured it was just a mistake, no big deal (we had to go back for an immunization because the well child check was scheduled too early to receive it). The second time was after I specifically asked a question and made the appointment based on their answer. Then during that scheduled appointment I was informed that I would have to come back a second time because the answer I was given when I scheduled was incorrect.nnI asked to talk to a supervisor to relay my concern that now twice I had to come for an additional appointment due to scheduling errors. The supervisor told me it was my fault that I got the wrong answer because I asked the front desk and not the triage nurse. I apologized, saying I was unaware and now would know the correct person to direct a question like that to. She then proceeded to tell me she was sending me records request forms so I could seek a new medical provider for my children. I was completely shocked and speechless. I stated that I was not intending to leave, only to report a concern. The next week I received a letter stating that Skagit Pediatrics would no longer treat my children. This is in the middle of the COVID19 pandemic no less. I still am in shock that over reporting a concern I was told it was my fault and my children were denied further care by the pediatrician we thought so highly of.

I’ve been taking my kids here for almost 8 years now, I think they are fantastic. We absolutely love Holly Hensen and most of the doctors are great. However, I would definitely steer clear of Dr. Lowe. She gives off some very strange and unsettling vibes. She seems a bit uncomfortable around children and quite rigid. After my first son was born, they recommended she be his primary care physician and he saw her for a while before we made the switch to Holly (whom again, is WONDERFUL.) I’m not sure why in the past we always left with such a negative experience but after passing by Dr. Lowe in an aisle at Haggen many years later and observing the look she gave my son, I can’t help but feel like what we may have experienced long ago was Dr. Lowe’s inner prejudices. I would sincerely hope not and I always prefer to give others the benefit of the doubt but the moral of the story is, just trust your gut! No child deserves to feel uneasy around their doctor. There are so many other amazing doctors to choose from!

I called to schedule a mental health evaluation for my daughter because this is her primary doctor and her school counselor suggested i do. They where more worried about me being her step mother than her mental health. I called to simply schedule an appointment to get my daughter help. Even after getting authorization from my husband to allow me to schedule an appointment for her, they still wanted my own daughter to call in herself for the appointment. She is 15 but she came to me for help. I also schedule and bring her to all her other appointments. My husband also has legal custody and she has been living with us for the past 3 years. Talk about getting help. Very disappointed and this is such a sensitive matter.

I have had excellent service. I was a mess over the idea of circumcision for my new born boy. The office staff and Doctors were incredible. They are very kind and concerned and infested in my sons care. I wanted to do delayed and gradual vaccines and they didn’t pressure me. They worked with me and answered all my questions. All negative reviews seem unfounded in my opinion.
