My wife and I took the beginners course and loved it. Both of us had some canyoneering experience already but the new things we learned and the reinforcement of things we had already learned was well worth the money. All of the instructors were top notch. They were a lot of fun to hang out with and they were also very professional.
If you are considering taking a canyoneering course i strongly recommend Northwash Outfitters.
Also, i purchased some gear from the store and it was super fast and easy.
Jared also has one of the best canyoneering YouTube channels.

A friend and I decided to try our luck with canyoneering at the beginning of April even though we are terrified of everything... and LOVED IT. Our guide was super cool: patient, understanding, and a super good conversationalist. With only the 3 of us for 5 hours there was never a dull or awkward moment, mostly thanks to our guide. He new just the right amount of: baby our fears lol and make us do it anyways. AWESOME experience and would definitely do again!! 3 months later and I’m still sharing stories about it!
