My friend and I are not from Tacoma but decided to stop by Tickled Pink before meeting a friend for dinner. SO GLAD WE DID! So much so that by the time we walked out the door we were “Tickled Pink!” Everywhere we turned we found items to laugh about or beautiful merchandise to “ooh and ahh” about. We both walked out with purchases that we’ve not seen in any other store. Take time to see this fun place!

No hours postedud83dude12nCute store, girls helping were nice. I'm trying to find the hours. Have called the # on 'website' a few times, but no answer/response.nCan you pls list store hours? My friend & I were going to go shopping after work, but since we don't have hours we aren't going to go to Ruston Point & have no place to shop.

I shopped at this store last weekend. I bought a nice greeting card ($4) and when I went to purchase it with my credit card, the older woman teller asked for my ID. Because I had spent some time looking at cards next to the teller, I had heard the woman make several purchases with other customers, none of whom she asked for ID. These were all White and seemingly older than me. I can only assume that multiple factors came into play in her IDing me: 1) my last name (I also spoke Spanish while at the place), my appearance (I probably look in my late 20s), and 3) that I have Chase Sapphire metal credit card. As with most microaggressions, I cannot be sure if I was profiled for being Mexican, speaking Spanish, and having a nice credit card but how this lady treated me was clearly and starkly different from her other White customers. The good news: I don’t need to go back to this establishment again. And I would warn any POCs about going there too.
