The food here is not that fancy or that delicious for the price that they make people pay. The host and the person who cleaned our table were super rude but our waitress was awesome. Our waitress was friendly, hard working, and took really good care of us. Their spicy cornbread is definitely something to try, it was interesting but actually quite delicious. The fajitas were very bland. The steak for the fajitas was so chewy... we wish we never got the fajitas. Group of 6 and overall none of us were really impressed or happy about the taste or quality of the food. I would rate this place lower if it was not for the waitress.

Waited 30 minutes for a table and got sat, the server was already with an attitude from the get go, proceeded to ask for ID from my friend and I, and we gave it to her, my friends ID had expired but 90 day extension was still applicable and the server slides the Id back and says that she can’t serve us if my friend has an expired ID, and she didn’t even look at mine which was perfectly fine, then said yeah you guys have to leave can’t stay here. Overall the server just could of been nicer and explained things better, and we could of been ID at the door so that issue wouldn’t have happened

Update:nLast time I gave this place 5 stars but unfortunately I have to give it a 1 star now. Seems like the manager is new and not very customer friendly. I understand that when a restaurant does very well sometimes staff doesn’t appreciate customers because they know people will still come. The new management was rude, messed up our order and had no sign of remorse. Sadly, won’t be coming back here after being a loyal customer for two years.nnOld review: Great food, great ambience!! I think it’s the best Mexican restaurant in Tacoma. So far we’ve visited almost all the good restaurants in Tacoma and this is definitely one of my favorites.

Came here about 1pm on a Monday, had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Portions were a little small (I've never finished my plate at a Mexican restaurant before), but overall really great experience and I'd love to come again.

My friend arrived to reserve a table for 6 people at about 5pm today, we did not get seated until closer to 7pm. The food was delicious but this restaurant does not take reservations and has really long wait times. I’m pretty sure my group of friends waited to sit down for a table longer than the time it took us to eat. Highly recommend taking reservations for party’s of 4-6 to improve efficiency. Thank you.
